I am so excited! I am helping my friends on their upcoming wedding and there are a lot of things I have been doing lately, and if it were up to me, I would share them with you right away. But I know I can’t and I shouldn’t. Although, the low EQ me can’t help it, so I have decided to share with you some of the things I’ve made, which I think will not violate our couple’s privacy.
So for tonight, I show you… A Wedding Bouquet!
It’s not the bride’s actual wedding bouquet, but it was used in one of their wedding-related activities which I won’t tell what.. Haha. And now, this bouquet is headed to the wedding reception as one of our decorations. Talk about [the bouquet] multi-tasking! I used to think these felt flowers I make were of no use but I still make them anyway. :p But now, I take pride in knowing they can be functional too! Beautifying a person, and event, making a person or people happy just but looking at them… isn’t that considered functional? Yey!
And that is just the beginning. I have more stuff to show but I’ll park them for another post. So stay tuned. 🙂
So now more than ever, I feel that my tagline is true. I am indeed an IT professional by day (though sometimes it extends through the night). A crafter by night (though sometimes it extends through dawn or early break of dawn). And I am at all times, a mother.
If this isn’t slogging then I don’t know what is. I know a normal person would say just pick one, focus on it, and do not torture yourself. It’s either you work hard at your day job. Or quit it and diligently push through with your passion.
But we can do both, can’t we?
So despite the challenges, and lack of time (or lack of sleep), I have continued to work on several things simply because I love to. Crafting is a special part of me. And I will keep on doing it for as long as I, and there are others who are happy with it! 🙂
To God be the glory!
Beautiful! Love this!
