School starts soon for this little one so we went to National Bookstore to get some of her much needed school stuff.
See the makulit side of Dana as she does the shopping herself. Hope she had paid for ’em too! Haha just kidding.
P.S. We’re not rich but we’ve come a long way from who or where we were before. I remember growing up, going to school in hand-me-down uniforms from our neighbor, photocopied book pages for assignments (coz we couldn’t afford new ones), incomplete requirements — we couldn’t even buy Manila paper and that was just how much? But these were the very challenges that made us stronger and built our faith that indeed, God is the God of breakthroughs.
So whatever we go through in life now, I would often find myself looking back and saying to myself, “we’ve gone through worse but we pulled through because God is good and faithful. He was faithful then, He is faithful now, He will be faithful and gracious again tomorrow.” Not just financially, but in many aspects in life. (Perhaps I’ll tell you more of our good-for-tv-real-life-drama in another time. Hahaha.)
Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
And I can attest to that. May my life be a testimony.
To God be the glory! ❤
